Sportster / Buell rigid frames available in
four standard styles:
 
" XL
Streetfighter" frame accepts Buell or Sportster Hugger front-end, neck is set at 1
1/2" down, 1" back, 35 degree rake.
" 2 up
XL Digger" neck is set at 2" up, 2" fwd. 40 degree rake.
" 5 up
XL Chopper"
neck is set at
5" up, 1" fwd. 38 degree rake.
"8 up XL Chopper"
neck is set at 8" up, 3" fwd. 40 degree rake.

Frame
comes with: Rear axle, Battery box w. strap, Oil tank w.
cap, Kickstand tab welded on, Top bolt on engine mount,
Fork stop, and Offset sprocket "if it is 240 or 280/300
frame". 280/300 and 330 tire frame kit also comes with sprocket
outboard bearing support.
We only have offset sprockets for '91 and
up Sportster and Buell.
ALL SPORTSTER FRAMES MADE FROM MILD STEEL TUBING 1
1/4" Dia. 0.140" Wall thickness, Backbone 1 5/8" Dia. 0.188" Wall thickness.
All frames are T.I.G. welded by certified welders, no grinding
or filling necessary.
Our frames accept
Sportster engines from 1991 thru 2003 and Buell engines from 1995
thru 2002.
Specify year and model when ordering.
Center of engine sits 1/8" over to the right from center of frame, for near perfect balance, and clears 200 tire with
no additional offset sprocket or pulley.
Belt drive Sportsters or Buells with 27 tooth front pulley and
61 tooth rear pulley needs 135 tooth belt, with 29 tooth front
pulley and 61 tooth rear pulley, use 136 tooth belt. Both belts
available from us.
When using stock Buell rear wheel, you must install 1/4" spacer
between pulley and wheel.
240 and 280/300
tire frames comes with offset sprocket.
Our frames use
1986 or newer Sportster front engine mounts, and use "Sportster
Custom" type forward controls, CCI part # 17546 chromed, also
available thru Midwest, Mid USA, Drag and V-Twin.
Buell engines need Sportster sprocket cover and master cylinder.
Sprocket cover must be spaced out 9/16" when 240 tire
offset sprocket is used.
Big Twin forward control brackets available for additional
$120.-

Use Sportster
kickstand for 1957 to 1981 (1" shorter than stock) and
5/16" bolt to hold kickstand spring. Kickstand available
from us, $63.-
Frames accept
points covers for axle caps.
Frames for EVO
engines comes with top engine mount that will hold coil.
